A pre-Republican Buddhist seminary 佛學院.
After the Universal Saṇgha Study Hall 普通僧學堂 at Tiānníng Temple 天寧寺 in Yángzhōu 揚州 closed, Buddhists in Zhèjiāng 浙江 and Jiāngsū 江蘇 got together to form this new monastic school. The school was run by the Jiāngsū Saṇgha Education Association 江蘇僧教育會. It was first headed by Yuèxiá 月霞, but when he left Dìxián 諦閑 took charge. The school shut down after the outbreak of the 1911 Revolution.
