The Central Buddhist Guild 中央佛教公會 was a short-lived Buddhist association in Běijīng 北京. It was founded in May 1913 by Dàojiē 道階 and others at Fǎyuán Temple 法源寺 as an attempt to unify and organize all Buddhist temples in China into a single, national association. It became defunct some time during the political disorder that followed Yuán Shìkǎi 袁世凱 proclaiming himself emperor in 1915.
