Could the name and model for this have been based on the Mahabodhi society set up by Dharmapala? He had visited with Yang Wenhui earlier, where he mentioned the society, and later kept up a correspondence with him. This idea may have been kept alive by Yang's students. --Greg 12:43, 10 May 2011 (CST)
