Fóhuà xīnwen2 佛化新聞 (Buddhist News)

A Buddhist newspaper.

This monthly newspaper averaged three pages per issue. It carried news and information on Buddhism throughout China, but more on Sichuan after they moved there in 1939. Famous monks like Tàiū 太虛 and Yìnguāng 印光 often graced its pages. Wide circulation: in its first 3 years it went from a printings of 3,000 to 10,000.

MFQ has 34 issues (all between 228-265, all in 1942).
