Institution Article Guidelines

  • Please use the sample Blank Institution article for starting new entries on institutions
  • Add {{EditStatus|status=X}} to the discussion page of the article, filling in A, B, C, or "start" for the status (see below)

Edit Status Guidelines

These are the general guidelines for determining the edit status of entries of institution articles:

AThis article contains information on the dates during which this organization, group, or event was viable. Names of founders, leaders, and/or prominent participants are also included. Where possible, the goals and affiliations (religious, societal, etc.) will be noted. For schools and institutions, the names of notable students and teachers will also be listed. If the oganization was involved in any publication activities (books, canons, periodicals, etc.), this is included. The source of all information is documented.
BOne of the following is true: This article is lacking some portion of the information listed under "A"; OR it must be revised for minor style or structural issues, or mistakes.
CThis article lacks much of the information outlined in "A", and/or has serious style, structural, or correction issues that need attending to.
StartThe article only contains the most basic information about the subject, and needs much more content to be considered complete.
