There were at least two Buddhist seminaries 佛學院 that operated under this name during the Republican period.
Yuèxiá became abbot of Xīngfú Temple in 1917. His dream was to create a Buddhist Seminary, possible similar to the Huáyán University 華嚴大學, that he ran from 1912 to 1916. When Yuèxiá died in Hángzhōu that fall, it fell to Yīngcí to start the school, which he did in 1920.

Organized at the behest of Xūyún by Cízhōu. This name may have just been what Cízhōu called his various lecture series, and not actually a self-standing Seminary.
