Jué yǒuqíng 覺有情 (Bodhisattva)[2] was a Chinese Buddhist periodical that was published in Shànghǎi 上海 from 1939 to the early 1950s.
History
Founded in 1939 by the Shanghai Buddhist layman Chén Wúwǒ 陳無我 as a semimonthly publication, from April 1, 1941 it began to publish monthly double issues. During this period its content was mainly short essays and Buddhist news. From January 1948 it formally became a monthly periodical, and began to publish more specialized pieces on Buddhist topics. After 1949 it became one of the major Buddhist periodicals in China, and provides information on more revolutionary attitudes among Buddhists of that era. From 1951 it was only published in multi-issue volumes, and ceased publication in February 1953.
