Lú Mountain 廬山 is a famous mountain and retreat located at the very northern end of Jiāngxī 江西 Province.

The World Buddhist Federation 世界佛教聯合會 meetings were held here July 23 - August 11, 1923; and July 13 - 15, 1924
Tàixū 太虛 organized a special summer course in English and Buddhism, which was geared to help prepare monks for the propagation of Buddhism.
