Fójiào rénjiān 佛教人間 (Buddhist Humanity)

A Singaporean, bilingual Chinese-English Buddhist periodical.

  • Run: (Its previous incarnation 人間佛教, started in 1947, and had at least 6 issues)–1950, 7
  • Location(s): Singapore
  • Person(s): Wēng Lìfū 翁立夫
  • Associated Organizations: 佛教人間社, and the Singapore Buddhist Institute founded around 1947/8 by Fǎfǎng 法舫 and Cíháng 慈航.

Notes Continuation of Singapore’s Humanistic Buddhism 人間佛教. It was printed by the same printer, Nányáng 南洋 printing. It had the same goal as the original: To promote Humanistic Buddhism. The articles are fairly simple and easy to understand. Bilingual Chinese-English. It averaged about 16 pages per issue.

MFQ has 17 issues. Looks fairly complete.
