Guǎngdōng is a province in the south of China. It has been an important economic and political region in the twentieth century, especially the area surrounding the Pearl river 珠江 delta.

Important Buddhist Sites

• Nánhuá Temple 南華寺 in the northern part of the province
• Yúnmén Temple 雲門寺, where Xūyún 虛雲 spent his final years
