- | During my researchs I found out, that all seminal english contributions, mentioning the Jetavana-Hermitage, cite Frankes articel (which includes a full translation of the schools preliminary constitution and public request letter for donations and support). But none of them ever mentions this "intended" three-leveled programm, which makes me doubt they were really able to read it fully in German! Especially the request letter is a manifesto of the group of like-minded Buddhists around Yang, who saw Buddhism as the new global religion and the only remedy for China´s society.

- | I don´t have access to the original chinese documents, (though I think Franke was great translater) I assume there are quite many mistranslations in his article. (I just translated parts of the wuchang-foxueyuan-constitution, thats why a got a feeling for these formal buddhist-curriculare language style).
