Also known as the Dharma Propagation Research Society 弘法研究社.
This Academy began in 1918 as the Guānzōng Research Society 觀宗研究社. Its name was changed, probably around 1928 when the Periodical of the Dharma Propagation Society 弘法社刊 began publication. It was based at Guānzōng Temple 觀宗寺 in Níngbō 寧波 and was associated with Dìxián 諦閑, who was the primary teacher there until his death in 1932.
The Academy closed in 1939.
