	This organization was the brainchild of Tàixū [[太虛]], who had help from his former classmate Rénshān [[仁山]]. Their goal was to modernize monastic education and to this end they sought to use Jiāngtiān Temple [[江天寺]] on Jīnshān [[金山]] as the location for a new school. Their heavy-handed efforts in this regard led to the so-called Invasion of Jīnshān [[大鬧金山]]. never very large, the organization ceased to exist after that.
