The Dharma Propagation Hermitage (Hóngfǎ jīngshè 弘法精舍) was a short-lived Buddhist center in Hong Kong, that later became home to the South China Buddhist Seminary 華南佛學院.
This hermitage was built by a group of Hong Kongese lay Buddhists in order to attract Bǎojìng 寶靜, abbot of Guānzōng Temple 觀宗寺 in Níngbō 寧波 to spend more time in Hong Kong. Bǎojìng came in 1939 and left the following year. Unfortunately, he died unexpectedly in Shànghǎi 上海 later that year.
In 1948 the then defunct Hermitage became home to the South China Buddhist Seminary 華南佛學院.
